Summer Fair 08
It's my sons' school's summer fair. I hold a food stall with a friend (Kak Lin).
I cook a lot of food such as chicken satay-a top favourite, Bihun and Mee goreng, Popia goreng, Karipap goreng, Fish&Cuttlefish balls, Chicken curry Tartlette, Cupcakes, Chocolate cake, Cookies, Puding, Jelly,Kueh Pelita, Apam Salju,Aiskrim Malaysia,drink and other tit bits..It went really really well, alhamdulillah.
Even though, it was really tiring, i have to admit it was indeed an amazing experience...(tak sempat nak snap gambar all the other food...managing a stall by myself was really something..so busy..but thanks to Kak lin, who shared the stall with me, she did help a lot with the sale...THANK YOU SO MUCH KAK LIN, and also thanks to Huzai and Aminah. You girls are really great friends...!!

Dodol in the making!!
My middle son, Nabil wanted to eat dodol so badly that i decided to cook it myself..

After 1 hour of constantly and slowly stirring..

The next hour..

lastly, after 3 hours plus..dodol was (almost) finally ready to be eaten... (i stopped for a while, then my hubby continued the painstaking process of stirring non-stop for another half and hour...lucky him! He only had to do that much..:-))

Cream Cheese n Chocolate Cream Puff
This is unbelievably easy to make and taste so heavenly as well.

RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
* 2 (8 ounce) roll of puff pastry
* 500-600 g cream cheese
* 200 g white sugar
* 2-3tbs demerara sugar
* 5 ml vanilla extract
* 110 g butter/margerine, melted
* 50 g white sugar
* 2 g ground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
2. Press one roll of puff pastry into the bottom of the prepared pan. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Spread over the pastry layer. Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and lay them on top of the cream cheese layer. Do not press down. Pour the melted margarine/butter over the entire pan. Combine demerara sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the top.
3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is crisp and golden.
